ZooCub Classes

APRIL REGISTRATION NOW OPEN

ZooCub classes will explore the A-Z’s of animal species and examine topics like animal textures and where animals live, with a different class each week.  Every class includes a lesson, craft, up-close animal encounter, and a tour of the Zoo!  The classes for children age 3 and younger are designed for an adult and child.  Children age 4 and up are welcome to attend with an adult or on their own.  Each adult is welcome to accompany up to two children.

Infants and Toddlers (under age 2, with an adult) - Sizes

Come discover the amazing patterns of the animal kingdom!  This parent and child class will include a variety of learning activities for infants and toddlers, including stories, simple activities, a Zoo exhibit visit and an animal visitor.  Classes are held on Wednesdays from 9:15 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.

Register for the whole series and save!  Series Pack price is $24 for Members and $42 for non-members. 

Individual class price is $8 per class for Members.  Non-member price is $13 and includes Zoo admission.

Preschool (ages 2-3, with an adult)

Discover different types of animal offspring!  We’ll explore the different ways that animals lay eggs and have their babies, with a story, craft, simple activities, Zoo tour, and an animal encounter.  Classes are held on Wednesdays from 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

Register for the whole series and save!  Series Pack price is $32 for Members and $52 for non-members. Individual class price is $10 per class for Members.  Non-member price is $16 and includes Zoo admission.

Prekindergarten (ages 4-5)

Come on a wildlife adventure as we learn about animal defenses and the ways animals keep themselves safe!  Our oldest ZooCubs can have their very own animal experience with a lesson, craft, activities, Zoo tour and an animal encounter.  Classes are held on Wednesdays from 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.  (Please note that parents are welcome to attend, but not required to stay for the class.)

Register for the whole series and save!  Series Pack price is $38 for Members and $60 for non-members. Individual class price is $12 per class for Members.  Non-member price is $18 and includes Zoo admission.
