Insider Information Tour
Experience the Zoo with an expert at your side! One of our Education staff will lead the group to many of our most popular exhibits and will provide in-depth information about our animals and their care. The Insider Information Tour begins at 8 a.m., an hour before the Zoo opens, providing a look at the Zoo as the day begins. This adults-only tour is limited to 10 people and concludes at 10 a.m. Please note that the tour is in public areas only and does not include behind-the-scenes access.
Pricing:
Members: $10 per person
Non-Members: $20 per person
Non-member price includes Zoo admission.
Advanced registration is required. Registration closes 24 hours before the program begins.

Want to have your own Personal Tour?
One-hour Personal Tours are available daily, during Zoo hours, year-round based on educator availability. Please make your reservation at least two days in advance. For reservations, fill out the form here and request “Personal Tour Only” or contact our Education Department at 605-367-8313, ext. 233. (Phone reservations are recommended within a week of the requested date.)
