Sioux Falls Zoo & Aquarium features animals from seven continents - and the seas in between - on our two campuses, Great Plains Zoo and Butterfly House & Aquarium.
At the Great Plains Zoo (GPZ) campus, explore more than 20 acres of habitats, ranging from our iconic bighorn sheep mountain to our new, world-class African lion exhibit. The majority of our displays are open year-round, with climate controlled indoor viewing spaces throughout zoo grounds. GPZ is located at 805 S. Kiwanis Ave. in Sioux Falls.
Butterfly House & Aquarium (BHA) campus features a conservatory with lush, tropical plant life and hundreds of free-flying butterflies. Plus, guests can explore the oceans of the world in our gallery-style aquarium space, featuring horseshoe crabs, corals, stingrays, jellyfish, and so much more! BHA is located in Sertoma park at 4320 S. Oxbow Ave. in Sioux Falls.
