For 40 years, the Delbridge Museum was an educational resource for visitors. The animals were trophies harvested by Henry Brockhouse in the mid-20th century. After Brockhouse’s death, the animal collection was purchased by CJ Delbridge and donated to the city of Sioux Falls. The city had been displaying the collection at the zoo since the mid-1980s – 2023.
