Kids' Clinic
Located in the lobby of the Delbridge Museum of Natural History, the Kids’ Clinic play area provides hands-on opportunities for the Zoo’s youngest visitors.
Kids’ Clinic experiences include:
- A Veterinarian’s clinic with an exam table, child-sized scrubs and lab coats, and medical instruments that will be used to examine animals.
- A Zookeeper’s diet kitchen where children can sort and weigh food to feed the animals.
- A Groundskeeper’s area where children can plant and water a flower garden or use a leaf blower to clean their space.
- A maintenance area allowing children to don safety goggles and hard hats as they use a chainsaw to cut a tree trunk into pieces, and use hammers, wrenches, saws, and other equipment to fix, build, and become one of the Zoo’s maintenance crew members.
