Group Admission
A trip to the Butterfly House & Aquarium offers students a chance to learn about the world around them in a living classroom. Our educational tours are an indispensable learning tool that your student will be talking about long after their visit!
Field trips are approximately 60 minutes in length and include activities connecting the tour to classroom curriculum.
Note: Memberships are for family visits and cannot be used for field trips.
Kindergarten through 5th grade classes visiting during April and May qualify for a free field trip, funded through a grant provided by the Floyd family. This includes one free adult admission for every 10 students.
Schools that do not receive a free field trip qualify for our field trip rate of $8.50 per person (plus tax) for everyone ages 2 and up, including teachers and chaperones paid for by the school. All field trips must be booked in advance and require one payment to qualify for the school rate.
Regular admission price of $15 will apply to any chaperones paying individual.
Please register your visit through our online registration portal (available March 1). Your initial confirmation will show our field trip rate; for schools that qualify for a free field trip, we will send you an updated confirmation within a week of receiving your registration.
We are grateful for the generosity of the Floyd family in supporting field trip visits to the Butterfly House & Aquarium. Due to the passing of Joe Floyd earlier this year, this will be the final Spring that we are able to provide these free visits for students.

Group Visits
Engage with some of nature's most incredible animals on a group visit the the Butterfly House & Aquarium! Groups of 20 or more that make a reservation in advance will receive a discounted rate of $1.50 per person off our normal rate.
