We are excited you're looking to visit Butterfly House & Aquarium (BHA). Embark on an unforgettable adventure where you'll discover the wonder of tropical butterflies and the mesmerizing world of marine aquariums!

Admission
All guests under the age of 17 must be accompanied by an adult- Adults (Ages 18-59): $15 + Tax
- Youth (Ages 2-17): $11 + Tax
- Infant (Under age 2): Free
- Seniors (Ages 60+), Military, or Student (with valid student ID): $13 + Tax
Know Before You Go
- Guests age 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
- Working trained service animals are permitted within the facility. Pets, exotic species, therapy animals, and emotional-support animals are not permitted.
- Food, snacks, gum, and drinks can harm the animals, so please use caution.
Zoo & Aquarium for All Tickets
Butterfly House & Aquarium and Great Plains Zoo (GPZ) are proud to offer the Zoo & Aquarium for All Program to help make the BHA and GPZ accessible for all families. All those who participate in programs including South Dakota’s SNAP, TANF, and WIC are eligible to receive a reduced admission rate.
*Because BHA remains open year round, some animals may be off exhibit, and some exhibits may be closed due to maintenance or staffing needs. BHA is closed on the following holidays: New Year's Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve Day, and Christmas Day.
