Sioux Falls Zoo & Aquarium (SFZA) is thrilled to host the third Creative Creatures art event at Butterfly House & Aquarium (BHA) on Saturday, November 30 from 10 am-4pm. This annual Thanksgiving weekend event is curated by Sioux Falls-based art collective Untitled.10.

Visit with four talented artists, as they showcase their work process and products. Shop unique, handmade art – perfect for those looking to buy local this holiday season. Plus, kids can enjoy the Exploration Station with cool art materials, creating their very own masterpiece to take home!

Untitled 10 has selected four artists for this year’s event – each one using different materials with a style all their own. They will be stationed throughout BHA, so guests can enjoy art and nature simultaneously.

Kathryn Daniels, also known by her business name “Ouch I Felt That” makes fanciful and fun creatures out of wool. Her felted creations are full of joy and charm.
Cassia McLoone is a photographer. Her photos on film are as gentle as the wings of a butterfly and just as beautiful.
Kelsey Bageant is bringing a full variety of illustrated artwork. From digital prints to charcoal and color pencil, she has something to hang on any wall.
Jody Lynn Fleischhacker is our painter. She uses paint and mixed media to bring nature to life through bold and fresh animal portraits.
