Girl Scout Programs

Girl Scout Camp Outs

We’ll pitch our tents near the Rare Rhinos exhibit and enjoy animal encounters, activities, an evening snack, and an after dark tour of the Zoo!  In the morning, we’ll have a light breakfast, meet more ambassador animals, and take another tour before the Zoo opens.

For Girl Scout Camp Outs, kids must be ages 6 and up to attend the program. One adult can accompany up to five children; everyone ages 17 and under must have a responsible adult with them at the event. Each participant must be registered to attend, including adults.

Pricing: $30 per person.  Includes Zoo admission after the program concludes.

  • Love this zoo! Great place to get a walk in and the animals are everywhere! The museum/indoor part is very educational too. Has a lot of shade for when it's hot out. Very clean. Friendly staff.

  • The museum gives you a break from the sun on hot summer days and has a great selection of animal exhibits from around the world.  The zoo keeps growing and adding new animal habitats or improving existing ones.  Membership offers reciprocal benefits to other zoos around the country.
