The Great Plains Zoo is now offering Yoga at the Zoo! Saturdays at 9:00 am, join Annie Mello of CPMFITness as she walks you through your favorite animal-inspired poses as you become one with the serene surroundings of the Zoo!
Wildlife has always been at the core of yoga, so come do yoga amongst the wildlife. Enjoy our zen surroundings before the Zoo opens to the public as your favorite animals make their way to their exhibits for the day. Bring your downward singing dogs, your camel poses, your eagle poses and enjoy 45-minutes of yoga with Annie before either a Zookeeper chat or an Ambassador Animal meet and greet for the final 15 minutes of cooldown. All courses will be beginner level so there is fun for the whole family! Just bring yourselves, your mats, your reusable water bottle and be ready to have a wild time!
*We will not have class on July 4th due to the holiday

The museum gives you a break from the sun on hot summer days and has a great selection of animal exhibits from around the world. The zoo keeps growing and adding new animal habitats or improving existing ones. Membership offers reciprocal benefits to other zoos around the country.Bill T.
