Join us for an evening of conservation, food, and fun! Conservation Biologist, Dr. Jeff Muntifering, is back in the States from Namibia and ready to share a presentation with Sioux Falls about the conservation program at GPZ for Black Rhinos, what it's like living and working in Namibia, and how you can help us continue our mission to save wild animals in wild places. Dr. Muntifering will share real life experiences, audio and visuals from Namibia, and answer a Q & A on all your rhino and conservation related questions! Tickets are at no cost, but we ask that you make a donation for an amount you feel comfortable with that will go directly toward the Black Rhino conservation program.
This event is sponsored by the Great Plains Zoo Conservation Committee. Great Plains Zoo Conservation: Partnering to conserve species, locally and globally
Love this zoo! Great place to get a walk in and the animals are everywhere! The museum/indoor part is very educational too. Has a lot of shade for when it's hot out. Very clean. Friendly staff.Taylor F.

The museum gives you a break from the sun on hot summer days and has a great selection of animal exhibits from around the world. The zoo keeps growing and adding new animal habitats or improving existing ones. Membership offers reciprocal benefits to other zoos around the country.Bill T.
