Lloyd Christmas

Lloyd Christmas is a 9-year-old Meerkat. Meerkats live in large groups of up to 50. They dig burrows underground and have excellent eyesight, which helps keep them safe. Their stomachs have less fur than the rest of their body, which helps them soak up the sun’s heat. When they want to warm up, they stand on their hind legs and use their tail for balance as they face the sun. Lloyd loves people and races to the door to greet the Zookeepers. His favorite snacks are super worms and grapes. You can usually find him somewhere up high, looking out for the rest of the meerkats. His brother, Biff, loves to explore new things and has a habit of barking at the veterinary staff!
