Komodo Dragon

Komodo Dragon With Tongue

Natasha

Natasha is a 10-year-old Komodo Dragon. Native to Indonesia, the Komodo Dragon can reach up to 10 feet long and over 200 pounds, which makes them the largest living lizard. Komodo Dragons are carnivores and have a scent organ on the roof of their mouth to help them smell their prey. They can run up to 11 miles per hour in short spurts. Natasha is very smart and loves to do training with the Zookeepers. You can usually find her basking in the sun or playing with her boxes!

  • Love this zoo! Great place to get a walk in and the animals are everywhere! The museum/indoor part is very educational too. Has a lot of shade for when it's hot out. Very clean. Friendly staff.

  • The museum gives you a break from the sun on hot summer days and has a great selection of animal exhibits from around the world. ¬†The zoo keeps growing and adding new animal habitats or improving existing ones. ¬†Membership offers reciprocal benefits to other zoos around the country.
