Get a Whiff of That
Few predators, only some owls and other birds of prey, hunt skunks. Animals that do hunt skunks can do so because they have a very poor sense of smell. Skunks can spray their scent in a stream up to one foot away. It then turns into a fine mist that can travel about 10 feet.
